Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms T. Farrant.
The full year course provides opportunity for in-depth investigation and exploration using a range of different Art making mediums. These include Mixed-media, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Design, Sculpture and Time-based Art. Students will develop ideas and explore visual communication within a variety of contexts. The Year 10 Art course cost is $40 this is the Take Home Contribution. Students taking this course will produce products that will be taken home and therefore will be asked to pay $40 for the cost of materials.

Pathway
Year 10 Art, full year, offers an exciting range of drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and digital animation artworks across the year.
This course also provides a foundation for Year 11 practical art and/or photography at Year 11. From Year 11 Art students can continue with Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Design to Scholarship level.
