The year 10 Food Technology course aims to build on the skills learned in Year 9. Students will also be developing dishes to meet a variety of contexts such as; nutrition, cost, quality, creativity, specific techniques and skills, food safety, plus the consideration of societal influences.
Term 1: ‘Asian Fusion’
Term 2:‘Master Chef'
Term 3: 'Food Photography'
Term 4: ‘Cake Boss’
Assessment: Project work associated with each unit will be assessed at the end of each term.

We would like to provide extra ingredients to enhance learning and we encourage a voluntary payment of $80 to cover these. Students will get to consume or take away the items they produce.
We aim to enable every student to have the course that they prefer, however, some courses have limited places or pre-requisits that may restrict the student's choice.
