Recommended Prior LearningNon-achievement of Reading or Writing credits at Level 2. Invitation only.
This is an additional course which runs in the tutorial line to support students with Level 1 literacy or University Entrance literacy requirements. It is on top of the 5 subjects student select. Generally students attend only until they have met their literacy goal.
Students will have the opportunity to complete 1 (or possibly 2) internal assessments to gain the credits they need for these co-requisites. Students who are short more than 5 credits need to take a full English course and/or another subject that offers reading and writing credits.
Students will be invited to this course at the beginning of 2026 once the group whose needs it meets have been identified,

Students will complete one or possibly two of the standards listed to help them complete Level 1 literacy and/or UE literacy, depending on their needs. This is not a 24 credit course! No standards are at Level 3.
