Course Description

This course continues from childcare studies at Year 12. It is a self-paced course using Porse Education and Training Ltd unit standard tasks. It aims at giving students the basic skills and knowledge required for provision of Early Childhood Education in care settings.

Some Unit Standards will require a work placement in an Early Childhood Education in managed care settings. Placements will be organised by the subject teacher at a local Early Childhood Education facility during Terms 2 and / or 3.

You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
