The full year course provides opportunity for in-depth investigation and exploration using a range of different Art making mediums. These include Mixed-media, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Design, Sculpture and Time-based Art. Students will develop ideas and explore visual communication within a variety of contexts. 11 Visual Art, 11 Photography-Design
Year 10 Art, full year, offers an exciting range of drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and digital animation artworks across the year.
This course also provides a foundation for Year 11 practical art and/or photography at Year 11. From Year 11 Art students can continue with Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Design to Scholarship level.
Stationary requirements: A junior Art Pack is required for Y9/10 Art Core and Option Art. Students are only required to purchase 1 x art pack for all options, as well as a Visual Diary for Option Art. The Art pack can be purchased from the stationary shop for $40 (prices may vary in 2026)
The Junior Art Pack contains: 1 x Document Wallet, a set of good quality Paint brushes, a 6B Art Pencil, a set of high quality acrylic paints, a palette.
We also suggest scissors, an eraser, and a glue-stick as well as a topped up printing account.
