The full year course provides opportunity for in-depth investigation and exploration using a range of different Art making mediums. These include Mixed-media, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Design, Sculpture and Time-based Art. Students will develop ideas and explore visual communication within a variety of contexts. Year 10 Art, full year, offers an exciting range of drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and digital animation artworks across the year.
This course also provides a foundation for Year 11 practical art and/or photography at Year 11. From Year 11 Art students can continue with Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Design to Scholarship level.
The Year 10 Art course cost is $40 this is the Take Home Contribution. Students taking this course will produce products that will be taken home and therefore will be asked to pay $40 for the cost of materials.
